Infonetica Ltd win tender to develop a national R&D System for Scotland

Infonetica Ltd recently won a tender to develop and maintain a national R&D System for Scotland - SreDA.

The System, based on the highly successful ReDA 2 database used in over 150 NHS Trusts and universities is England and Wales, will allow Health Boards to register and manage   projects through the pre-approval process .  Further enhancements planned for later this year will allow post approval data such as recruitment figures and SAE information to be captured.

SReDA  also will link all of the Health Boards together allowing multisite studies to be  coordinated centrally in Scotland including sign off.

  • SReDA''s many functions will greatly assist R&D Personnel in the management of trials:
  • SReDA integrates with the new IRAS form allowing data from the form to be imported into a project record.
  • SReDA''s unique event capturing and project clock system allows every step in a study''s life to be accurately captured. It also allows the approval time to be recorded and reported on.
  • SReDA''s Advanced Report module allows complex management reports to be produced using real time data.
Documents can be uploaded, letters and automatic emails generated.

Infonetica Ltd will continue working with NHS Scotland R&D in 2008 to develop further enhancements to the system.

If you would like to learn more about ReDA 2 then please contact Chris Keane at chris.keane@infonetica.co.uk and I would be delighted to show you its full capabilities.
